We are halfway through our first year and a lot of things have been happening. We have had a
seminar on the 1004MC form and hopefully everyone understands its function and procedures. If
you are member in good standing, Harvey Segal and John Wittert have developed a CD and it is
listed under Appraisersworkbench.com. You are eligible to receive a free disk on behalf of your
chapter. The new HVCC has been out since the first of June and hopefully the management
companies are not controlling your destin. There have been several emails and surveys out
asking for your help to write to various legislators, Fannie Mae and etc and hopefully you are
following up with these notices.
This year is a renewal cycle and hopefully you are taking and scheduling your classes before the
deadline. Our chapter is offering several classes between now and September and they can be
found on our web page.
Our golf outing is coming up on July 17th and hopefully you will join us for an afternoon of good
fun. Registration forms are also on the web page.
We have a speaker coming for our August 13th luncheon meeting and he will be talking on
Survival and Management Decisions. Please keep this date open. More information will be
posted on our web page.
Our Step Up program currently has 3 candidates and if you are interested in participating in a
review session to learn more about how to upgrade yourself from an Associate to Designated
IFA appraiser, you may contact Tom Majchrzak at 815-463-9180 or
majchrzak2@comcast.net.
If you have any ideas or suggestions on what your chapter should be doing or classes, please
submit them to my attention at
dobappr@comcast.net.
